Preserving Life, Stone Lithograph 2006
In this unique print of Kenton Nelson’s Preserving Life, we see a stately, strong female figure shouldering a life preserver, a common theme in many of his “water” paintings. The pose, composition, and swim attire lend themselves to the softer, vintage color palette produced by the five-color lithograph process. Printed on BFK Rives paper.
Image size 17 x 12 inches
Paper size 20 x 15 inches, with deckle edge
Hand signed by the artist
Limited edition of 100
The Preserving Life lithographs were created especially for The Frostig Collection, curated by Kate Stern, in support of The Frostig Center, a Los Angeles institution supporting students with learning differences.
